Same price to start. One app instead of two modes, and no credits to count.
Blotato is a social media API that grew a web app. @socials is a social media app that includes the API. Both start at $29 and both have a $97 plan. Below is what you get for the money, taken from both companies' public pages on the same day.
An API first, an app second
Built for posting from Claude, ChatGPT, n8n and Make. The website has a Developer Platform mode and a Content Studio mode, AI is paid for in credits that vary by model, and plans cap queued posts and the people you can message.
One app that does the whole job
Scheduler, AI writer, design tool, clip maker, DM bot, inbox, link page, analytics, research, automation, strategist and agency tools in one place, with plain monthly allowances and the API and MCP included on every plan.
What you get at each price
Blotato's numbers are from blotato.com/pricing and help.blotato.com. @socials numbers are the plans on this site.

Where each one wins
Neither tool is better at everything. Pick by the job you actually do.
Pick Blotato if…
- You already run your content through n8n or Make and want official nodes rather than HTTP steps.
- You make AI avatar or faceless videos with AI voiceovers and want that in the same tool.
- You want to paste TikTok or X links and get posts back (articles, PDFs and your own videos work in both).
- You want templated infographics in dozens of styles.
- The web app matters less to you than the API, and you're fine learning two modes and a credit system.
Pick @socials if…
- You want one app you (or a client) can open and understand, with the API as a bonus rather than the product.
- You record long videos or podcasts and want the clips cut, captioned and scheduled for you.
- You post to more than nine networks, or to Google Business, Reddit, WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Slack or Snapchat.
- You don't want to count credits, queued posts or contacts.
- You work with clients or a team: roles, approvals, review links, notes and white-label reports.
- You want strategy from your own numbers, not a viral-post library.
- You also need a link page, tracked links, competitor tracking, listening, evergreen and RSS and don't want to pay another app for each.
Same numbers at the start, very different at the top

Moving from Blotato takes an afternoon
Nothing to migrate but your channels and whatever is still in the queue.
In the app
- Connect your channels through each network's own sign-in page, about a minute each. Facebook Pages, LinkedIn organisations, Pinterest boards and Google Business locations are picked inside the app.
- Set your brand voice in Brand settings: a short form, or paste a few of your best posts and it learns from them.
- Bring the queue over. Export your scheduled posts as a spreadsheet, keep the caption, media link, type and date and time columns, and import it in Creation Automation. Rows with a date keep it; the rest fill your posting slots.
- Pick a posting schedule in Calendar → Queue, or let the app propose one from your best times once it has a few weeks of results.
- Start from a template in Creation Automation when the queue is empty: a week of tips, a launch week, a month for a local business, a thread or carousel series.
In your automations
- Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor: make a key in Account → API & MCP and point the client at
https://atsocials.com/api/mcpwith the key as the bearer token. The tools appear on their own, including next free slots and analytics. - n8n, Make, Zapier: swap the Blotato node for an HTTP step that calls
POST https://atsocials.com/api/v1/postswithcontent,channels,mediaandscheduledFor(oraddToQueue: true). Channel ids come fromGET /api/v1/channels. - Claude skills: five free skills (post writer, viral hooks, repurpose, scheduler, content coach) at atsocials.com/skills, written for this server's tools.
- Keep both running for the first week if you like. Nothing here depends on cancelling the other.
Switching questions
Can I move my scheduled posts over from Blotato?
Export them as a spreadsheet and upload it to Creation Automation: one row per post with the caption, the media link, the type and the date and time. Posts with a date keep it; the rest fill your posting slots. Connecting each channel again takes about a minute through the network's own sign-in page.
I post from Claude or n8n. Does that still work?
Yes, on every plan. Make an API key in Account → API & MCP, connect the MCP server to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, or call the REST API from n8n, Make or Zapier's HTTP step. Your agent can list channels, create and schedule posts and read the calendar. Dedicated n8n and Make nodes are on the way.
Why no credits?
Credits move the pricing question onto every button: how much will this image cost today? We'd rather you knew the answer before you started. Each plan has a plain monthly number of captions, images, videos, clip minutes and strategist questions, the app shows how many are left, and nothing else is metered: not posts, not replies, not the API.
What's not here yet?
AI avatar videos with voiceovers, infographic templates, posts from TikTok or X links, and official n8n and Make nodes. If one of those is the reason you use Blotato, keep it for that job and use the free trial here for the rest.
Is the trial really free?
You add a card and nothing is charged for 7 days. Cancel before then from your billing page and you pay nothing. Making an API key doesn't end the trial. After the first charge there's a 30-day money-back guarantee as well.
Try the whole job in one app, free for 7 days
Connect your channels, let the AI write, design and clip, and post from the app or from your assistant. Keep Blotato running next to it if you like; cancel whichever one you stop opening.
