Analytics

Analytics shows how the brand is doing across every channel: who's following, what people see and engage with, which posts work, and when to post.

The top of the Analytics page with Client report, Export CSV, date range, headline numbers, engagement breakdown and publishing
The top of the Analytics page.
  1. Client report: a clean, printable report with your logo. See Client reports.
  2. Export CSV downloads the numbers for a spreadsheet.
  3. Date range: 7, 30 or 90 days. Every section follows it.
  4. Headline numbers: followers, impressions, reach, views and engagement rate, each compared with the period before.
  5. Engagement breakdown: likes, comments, shares, saves and link clicks.
  6. Publishing: how many posts went out and on which channels.
  7. Followers by day. See below.

Followers by day

Followers per channel over 30 days with a line per channel
Switch between Total and New per day, and pick one channel or all.

AtSocials records each channel's followers once a day, so the history starts from when you connected it (some networks provide earlier history, which is filled in once). The 30-day change is today's count minus the count 30 days ago.

Activity by day

Daily impressions chart with total, daily average, best day and days with activity
Impressions, reach, views or engagement per day. Hover a bar to see that day.

Views by channel

A table of channels with posts, views, views per post and share of views
Which channels bring the most views for the posts published in the period.

Top posts

A table of top posts with engagements, impressions, reach, likes, comments, shares, saves and engagement rate
Click a column heading to sort by it.

Links you shorten with Track links in the composer are listed here with their clicks.

Messages and comments

Typical reply time, share answered within a time, messages received, conversations answered and a time-to-first-reply chart
How quickly you reply to direct messages.

Reply times only count conversations you answered. What people are saying sums up how people feel in recent comments (positive, neutral, negative) with the common themes and real example comments. It needs a handful of comments to appear.

Best time to post

A heat map of weekdays and hours with the top three times and Add top 3 times to schedule
Darker squares did better. Switch between views, impressions and engagement, and between channels.

The top three times are listed above the map. Add top 3 times to schedule adds them to your posting times. Times with only one or two posts are weighted down so a single lucky post doesn't skew it.

Channels

A table of channels with followers, 30-day change and when tracking started
Every channel's followers, change and the date tracking started.

Client reports

The client report with headline numbers, impressions by day, top posts, channels, messages and monthly email settings
The client report is white-label: it shows your brand, not AtSocials.
  1. Print or save as PDF opens your browser's print dialog. Choose Save as PDF to get a file.
  2. Email this report every month. Tick Send monthly and add recipients. On the 1st of each month they get last month's numbers. Send last 30 days now sends one straight away.
Where the numbers come fromNumbers come from each network and refresh through the day. Networks differ in what they share (some don't count views, some don't share reach), so a column can be empty for some channels.
